Nami Conness is the director of the Art Department within the Violet Magazine. They find artists to submit pieces to include in issues, and collaborate with other artists within the department to give feedback on proposed artworks. They enjoy making all kinds of art including zines, songs, comics, and music with their band.

Hi I'm Jaylen, I'm new and started for the art department. I plan on using my drawing and music mediums to make art for people to enjoy and relate towards. I also love taking photos of the sky 👾.

Ella Esther is a photographer and artist from Los Angeles. they love working with portraits of women and genderqueer people, and are inspired by music & creating bridges between analog and digital photography.

Sawyer is a photographer/zinester from Echo Park who enjoys pushing exploring bounds in her art and writing. In the Violet Magazine she has worked on fashion shoots and helping with the art department.

Skops Faison, one of the newest members of Violet Magazine is part of our art department. He works mostly with textiles/wearable art, illustration, film, and trying to incorporate his love of juggling and stilting into whatever he does.

Ava Grimes is a member of the Art Department at Violet Magazine! She loves creating art in many forms, utilizing a wide variety of media. Currently, she has been busy with film making! This year, Ava will be showcasing her screenwriting, directorial, cinematographical, and editorial skills in her first short film. Lastly, but certainly not the least, she is a jazz aficionado, guitar-jamming enthusiast, fashion risk-taker, and roller skating newbie! Ava is so thrilled to be a part of such a creative environment that promotes youth engagement!
