Yes, Renaissance and Rebirth is redundant. Thank you to all seventh-grade history teachers who told their classes that the word “renaissance” means “rebirth”, and thank you to all who paid enough attention enough to point it out in our theme title.
That being said, we here at The Violet thoroughly hope our readers’ minds can go through a rebirth in the theory of irony as they flip through our first in-print pages. Thank you for picking us up, and thank you for taking the time to read through.
